Can't seem to defeat the Professor? This guide can help.

This guide contains:

  • Steps to complete each phase
  • Chest loot profit
  • Boss loot

Follow the steps below correctly and you might just beat floor 3!

Step 1: Obtain competent teammates.
This step is required as teammates with an IQ below 4 will mess up the boss.
Recommendations:
Don't use party finder
Get a friend
Get someone with a high cata or a lot of floor 3 completions
Get someone who can read
Get someone who can listen

Step 2: Enter the boss room after completing the blood room.
Simply walk into the portal and stay there until you get teleported to the boss room.
Notes:
Ask your teammates if you can go in unless you're speedrunning or carrying.
DO NOT enter the boss room before completing the blood room.

Step 3: Phase 1
3a: Reduce the Healthy Guardian's health to the point where you can kill it in two seconds. This is usually around 25k-50k depending on gear.
3b: Reduce any other Guardian's health to that point.
3c: Repeat step 3b until you get the warning that the Healthy Guardian is about to heal its teammates.
3d: Kill the Healthy Guardian.
3e: Repeat step 3b until the Healthy Guardian respawns.

3f: Repeat steps 3a-3e until all the Guardians can be killed in 2 seconds.
3g: Kill the Healthy Guardian and then quickly kill all the other guardians before it gets a chance to respawn.
This phase will be completed when he takes down his Barrier.

Notes:
The Laser Guardian's Focus Laser can be very annoying if you're playing as a Mage or Archer without proper gear. Simply keep moving around and ignore it.
The Chaos Guardian may kill you if it discharges while you're trying to reduce its health.
Standing on any guardian's pedestal will cause them to body slam, dealing knockback and 1500 damage.
Rogue Guardians may spawn throughout the fight. Ignore them while killing the Healthy Guardian or if you have enough health to survive them.

Step 4: Phase 2
This phase is arguably the easiest. Simply tank the Professor's attacks while dealing repeated damage to him. This phase will be completed when he merges with his Guardians.

Tips:
Lure the Professor in the water to reduce his mobility and make hitting him and dodging his attacks easier.

Step 5: Phase 3
This stage is slightly harder than the previous one. Simply use your main attack to damage the Professor and occasionally kill his rogue guardians. If he becomes too dangerous you can use your teammates as meat shields while you heal or kill him. This step will be completed when you reduce his health to zero.

Tips:
You can duck behind a pillar of any sort if the Professor decides it is a good idea to shoot you with his beam.

Step 6: Kill any remaining Rogue Guardians.
These can actually kill you sometimes, even after the fight is done. Be sure to kill them.

Notes:
This step is optional.
Say "baguette" instead of "taste" in the replies if you read this far.

Step 7: Collect your rewards and leave the dungeon.
Self-explanatory. You can use NEU to determine profit, or look at the table below.

Items listed in Green are profit. Under the Chest header, the number denotes the cost of the chest. Items with a Yellow cost beside them have a special price for their chest. Say "salad" in the replies instead of "taste" or "baguette" if you read this far, and do not do what the next one will say. Under the Profit header, Green denotes how much profit an item is and Red denotes its average bazaar or BIN auction price. You can calculate loss by subtracting Profit from Chest price.
Items with an
Asterisk (*) may need confirmation. It would help for someone to test it out and let me know the results.
This information is from the Skyblock Wiki and may not be entirely accurate. Please let me know of any misinformation in the replies.
